Graphics Amendment

Due to some technical issues and restrictions, we were unable to use the fonts we originally planned to have for our graphics and title. Instead we had to choose from a small amount of standard fonts. We chose this font to use. This is because although it wasn’t what we wanted, it still fit the conventions of a psychological thriller. By overlapping them we were able to create the same effect that we had planned to with the originally chosen fonts. Overall, we are happy with the outcome as it is still able to fit the conventions of our chosen genre and still looks professional.

We understand that our chosen fonts are extremely similar to those of which the film Se7en use. We liked the way these fonts flickerd around the page and wanted to incorporate this into our opening. but in order to seperate our fonts to the film Se7ens we chose to overlay some of our fonts instead of making them jump around. We also chose to have one or two names on the screen at any one time, we felt that this would have greater effect on the viewer as they would be able to focus on the images rather than the graphics, whereas Se7en wanted to use the fonts as a part of their image.
